The building itself exudes such an old world glamour with its ornate ceilings and vintage escalators… and its window displays and inside decorations are absolutely breathtaking during Christmas. Viewing, touching and even trying on the selection of fabulous items is such a thrill because of the setting alone. Personal favorites include the lush luxury shoe department, the unique decorative housewares (think hand painted lanterns from India or a top of the line Swiss clock) and of course, accessories and make-up on Floor 1. Selecting a new eye shadow, new shiny sunglasses, sparkly jewels, or a 
Chanel Classic Jumbo Flap never felt so good than under the soaring ceilings of the ground floor. It’s a feeling every girl that loves fashion should experience.
My favorite find is the BG Restaurant on the 6th floor, with a bird’s eye view of awe inspiring Central Park. It’s a perfect afternoon destination for ‘ladies who lunch’. Select from either their tasty lunch memo (designed obviously with the female in mind) or their BG Royal Tea Service (Daily from 3pm to 5pm) complete with a three tiered tower of snacks that you only thought existed in a historic romance novel… 
think cucumber sandwiches and scones with Devonshire cream (whatever the heck that is!). Grab a girlfriend, your credit card and spend the day at Bergdorf’s!
A: I cannot get enough of this place! Once you go, you will be hooked… subscribing to the mailing list… stopping in to just ‘check on’ something. Bergdorf’s is addictive. And the view from the BG Restaurant is outstanding… at a minimum, drop in for lunch.
